      ** Messenger - Plus! Extension **
      ** Version 1.42b **
      *************************************

Thank you for trying this little piece of software.
I've worked hard on it and I sincerely hope that
you'll enjoy it as much as I do. Feel free to email
me for any comments, suggestions or questions.

Installation note: the installation program is a
single exe file that contains everything necessary
to install the software. However, this readme file
MUST be included with every installation package.
Redistribution of this freeware is encouraged but
is illegal if you remove or alter the Readme.txt
file that was originally distributed with it.

Uninstallation note: in case of you would not like
this software, you can uninstall it anytime from the
Add/Remove Programs window, in the Windows Control
Panel.

How to obtain help on the new features: when the
extension is installed, a "Plus!" menu is added in
the Messenger window. In this menu, select
"Information.." to open the About box. There, you
can find explanations about the various features
that are added by the Plus! Extension. I also
suggest you to go in the Preferences panel to
explore the available options.

How to get new versions: Plus! has a built-in
auto-update feature so you should never have to
check this by yourself. However, you can still
visit the web site http://www.patchou.com/msgplus/.
New versions will always be posted here. Note that
any access to the main www.patchou.com site won't
get you anywhere.

Known limitations:
 * As Windows does not processes keyboard shortcuts
when a child modal window is open, you can't use
Quick Texts when the Preferences panel is open
   in the main Messenger window.
 * The IP shown in the System Information window
is the one of the first network card found in
the system. By consequence, it may not be your
internet IP. This will be corrected in further
   versions.
 * If you try to kill the MsgPlus process
(especially in Windows 95/98/Me), you might
crash your system. Anyway, you should never have
   to terminate this program.
